Sometimes I'm the devil sometimes she is too Wish I was balanced but that wouldn't do Of all the bad things most are my fault her intentions are good but we both get lazy Maybe one day my heart'll break and I'll be more like you Maybe I'll be more sensitive and understanding of your situation Maybe you'll break my heart

Run down buildings that dream of a fresh new coat stray dogs stray cats stray humans same loneliness in every eye You'll cowards can't see past your big blue dreams sit around pretending you're the real thing

Mt Moon 02:44
You're under a blue moon only happens once in a while (he called it) impending doom I'm sure you'll get over eventually
8.
Metal Song 03:13
Blinkers blinking on and off again to the right we're never gonna leave here if you follow the light hurry up before I fuck up your rear Everybody's getting off on Indian Hill I'll drive onto the shoulder just to get me some thrills that night I saved us both about an hour Had a thought that we are all gonna be a burden to somebody unless we die alone
9.
Folkvolvo 05:34
I don't really want to fight tonight I'll just take them sunny side up Sun rose and I haven't slept yet Tomorrow doesn't have a morning What is it I haven't seen before? Why is it I haven't tried? Lot of lying cause the truth's too hard Everybody's got their problems

about

Doodio Recordings presents
a Bughead production

I dedicate this album to John Marston, Marisa, and David Bowie.

featuring
Alfredo Contreras on vocals and rhythm guitar
Fred Jessie on lead guitar
Pasta on Bass
and A J Cunt on percussion

This started in late 2014 with an idea to make an album that sounded somewhat like a full band. I made You'll Cowards as a kind of stepping stone that I had hoped would quickly lead to Androgynous Pterodactyl, I was wrong. I fell into a funk after recording about 5 songs (My soulmate guitar, Theodore, was stolen) and didn't do much for pretty much all of 2016... I mean, I did do stuff, but I didn't record any of it and it was mostly videogames and movies and binging shows. At some point in 2017 I became somewhat inspired again and started playing the electric guitar a lot more, this led to the second half of the album which makes it have a nice little happy ending. Hurray

This album is the Phantom Pain to my Ground Zeroes except I actually finished it.

1. Androgynous Pterodactyl
-the intro featuring Brian Edwards' voice, used without permission

2. Let me slide my Big Stubby across your strings, baby
-an instrumental named because I use Big Stubby guitar picks, which I slide across the guitar's strings, get it?

3. Run at Thunder
-this song was such a bitch to record because I refused to just start over, take it or leave it believe it or not. includes a lady at a car rental place arguing on the phone with some customer service rep and Kurt Cobain's grandpa saying "macaroni and cheese", used without permission.

4. Hymn for the Wind
-named it what I did cause it came to me while hanging out in a tunnel under Pepper ave. The "wind" sound is made with a thunder tube thing. This is where I feel this album kicks in.

5. You'll Cowards
-don't even smoke crack. I stole the first half of the lyrics from Marisa and the title from Viper.

6. Sounds like Lon Lon Ranch
-features an intro by Marisa, used without permission.... a little ol slide geetar, and a little ol regular gitar.

7. Mt Moon
-a simple pop song to cheer up sad bugs named after Mt Moon but having nothing to do with the "actual" place.

8. Metal Song
-a remake of a song off of PussyQuest. It's inspired by aggressive driving in my early 20's

9. Folkvolvo
-a remake of a song off of Chicano Fatman. The chord progression was made up by Adrian, I stole it and made up a song around it and named it Folkvolkswagon cause I thought his car was a Volkswagen. It turned out to be a Volvo.

10. Epic of Magmar
-the first song I made up for Marisa, the last one on the album. Named cause Magmar is her favorite even though it's a wack pokemon, like me.

The album cover is a picture taken by my sister's daughter's wedding photographer at her wedding. It's a double exposure featuring my dad and niece (who wasn't getting married) that Marisa edited my dad's face over.
